After admiring the shelves over my friend’s computer desk for some time, I finally decided I needed to do something similar. Marie and I have a chronic clutter problem and more storage is always in order.

Oxygen Not Included

Last weekend I was dog sitting and had some time to kill. I finally bought myself Oxygen Not Included in a steam sale for the princely sum of £6. I’ve had my eye on it for years, the art style is great and I love a colony management game.

Bailey Bear

Content Warning: Pet Health

Marie’s family dog Bailey had a health scare recently. She’s a 13 year old Springer Spaniel, and now lives a quiet life, the madness of her youth now limited by age and arthritis. She had an issue with her back legs a couple of weeks ago and the vets gave us a warning that given her age and general health, investigating and treating any issues might not be in her best interest.

OpenGraph! OpenGraph is a protocol that lets you add information to a page so it looks fancy when it gets shared as a link.

Using Hugo

I think I’ve got my system for updating this site in somewhat logical order. It’s not as slick as Facebook, or probably even Wordpress, but I prefer the final result.

Bank Holiday

A quiet bank holiday today, not a lot to report!

Marie and I finishe The Physician that we started late a few nights ago. I’m not sure it’s considered a good adaptation of the book its based on, but we enjoyed it!
